Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING POLICY
At The Ladybird Company, every order is prepared by hand with care and attention to detail. Because most of our products are handcrafted in small batches, please allow time for production and fulfillment of your order.

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days. During busy seasons or for made-to-order products, processing may take a little longer. You will receive an email notification once your order has shipped. For made-to-order items, custom blends, or event kits, please allow up to 10 business days.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order. We currently ship to AB & SK using Purolator. The shipping rates we offer are the lowest possible rates we have access to because we are a low-volume business. If you are local to Lloydminster, Grande Prairie, Devon, or Birch Hills County, free local pickup may be available- please select this option at checkout if offered. If pickup is selected in any area besides Lloydminster, delivery may take 1-2 months.

Once your order has been shipped, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier. The Ladybird Company is not liable for delays, loss, or damage to parcels after shipment. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct at checkout. Orders shipped to an incorrect address due to customer error cannot be replaced or refunded.

Returns & Exchanges
We do not accept returns on:
- Aromatherapy, teas, infused oils, ointments, salves, tinctures, or any other consumable goods.
- Custom blends or personalized formulations.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact [mackenzie@theladybirdcompany.ca] within 10 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We’ll assess the issue and offer a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow up to 10-20 business days for processing. Refunds are not available for shipping costs.

We do not offer exchanges at this time. If an item is defective or incorrect, we will replace it at no additional cost once the issue is verified.​

Event Policy
Our events are designed with limited space and often include materials prepared in advance.

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least 7 days before the event for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another person.

In the event that The Ladybird Company cancels a class due to weather, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future date. Events may be cancelled up to the day before.

Failure to attend an event without prior notice is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.​
​
Our gatherings are intended to be welcoming, inclusive, and safe for all participants. By registering, you agree to:
- Treat all participants, facilitators, and the land itself with respect.
- Refrain from disruptive, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour.
- Follow any on-site safety instructions provided by event leaders.
The Ladybird Company reserves the right to remove any participant from an event, without refund, for behaviour that compromises safety or respect.

If an event includes a physical kit and you cannot attend, arrangements may be made for local pickup within 14 days of the event. Unclaimed kits after that time will be forfeited without refund.
